This year’s Manhasset’s Homecoming Parade will include much more than just the Manhasset High School Class floats, it has expanded to include many of the extracurricular programs in an out of school as well as the elementary school grades five and six.
So come on out on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m. and get a good seat on Plandome Road and make sure you where your orange and blue. The same colors as the Amazing Mets! The district is very excited about the move to involve more marchers.
This is the order for the parade:
1. American Legion
2. Manhasset Marching Band
3. Manhasset soccer athletes
4. Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts
5. Munsey Park students Grades 5 & 6
6. Shelter Rock students Grades 5 & 6
7. Class of 2019 + float
8. Class of 2018 + float
9. Class of 2017 + float
10. Class of 2016 + float
The participants will begin assembling on Colonial Parkway at 1:30 p.m. The American Legion will arrive at 1:45 p.m. and will lead the group up Plandome Road to the football field at 2 p.m. Come on out and show your school spirit!
