During a course of study on vertebrates and invertebrates, the elementary students of Our Lady of Grace Montessori School were recently visited by Mr. Anthony and his animals from the Nature Company. The children were able to pet a chinchilla, allow a dove to perch on their finger, feel the scales on a large snake and see how stick bugs hide in nature. The children were excited and fascinated by these animals. He asked them relevant questions about their studies and introduced them to new facts. It was a great indoor field trip.
