On Saturday, Nov. 14, New York State Police conducted an underage drinking enforcement operation in Nassau County. During the operation three employees of retail establishments, including one in Roslyn and one involving a Roslyn resident, were cited for selling alcoholic beverages to undercover State Police operatives.
Arrested and charged with Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage were: Ree M. Lee of Roslyn, a clerk at Vintage Cask and Barrel, Manhasset; Javid Khurram of Port Washington, a clerk at Mobil, 1021 Northern Blvd. Roslyn and Yogesh Sharma of Bethpage, a clerk at Shell, 220 Mineola Rd., Manhasset.
The defendants were issued appearance tickets returnable to Nassau County, First District Court, at a later date.
