Anticipation is building and plans are underway for the exciting revitalization of the Port Washington Public Library’s Children’s Room.
In honor of this innovative project, the Port Washington Library Foundation is offering a unique way for community members to get involved. The foundation has commissioned specially designed bookplates to commemorate the new Children’s Library. Our children’s librarians have selected a list of favorite book titles, including the Harry Potter series, the Penderwicks series, the Ramona Quimby series, The Cat in the Hat and The Polar Express. Bookplates will be added to a book of the donor’s choosing and included in the library collection for all to enjoy.“We are pleased to offer the opportunity for the community to participate in enhancing the new Children’s Library. The bookplate offer is a creative way to make a difference while honoring someone special in your life. We look forward to adding many favorite books to our shelves,” said Rachel Fox, director of children’s services at the Port Washington Public Library.
A donation of $100 entitles donors to a commemorative bookplate. Honor someone special in your life with this memorable gift.
