Bye Bye Birdie At The Landmark

ByeByeBirdie012716B ByeByeBirdie012716C The Community Synagogue Theater Company will shake, rattle and roll the Jeanne Rimsky Theater at The Landmark when they present the musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie on Sunday, Jan. 31, Friday, Feb. 4, and Saturday, Feb. 6. Inspired by Elvis Presley, Bye Bye Birdie is about rock star Conrad Birdie, the women who love him and the guys who want to be him. But when the U.S. Army drafts Birdie, his manager sends Conrad to small-town America to plant his goodbye kiss on one lucky fan for the entire world to see.

At the helm of Bye Bye Birdie is director Joe Marshall, who is an award-winning actor, director, producer and playwright. Rounding out the creative team are Lori Zlotoff, executive producer and Jane Ronis, stage manager.

Bye Bye Birdie has a cast of more than 35 actors with special guest appearances by local personalities. Performances will be at The Landmark on Main at 232 Main St. on Sunday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m., Thursday Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. Tickets for Bye Bye Birdie range from $27.50 to $42.50.
