Martins Talks With High Schoolers On Teen TV

Senator Jack M. Martins (R–7th Senate District) recently appeared on Public Access TV’s Teen TV to discuss issues with local high school students. Teen TV is a part of PATV’s Youth Project, which provides media arts training for students interested in the field of television and helps them develop leadership, group work and critical-thinking skills.

Martins talked about his efforts to combat the growing heroin epidemic, Common Core and laws he authored to enhance the safety of volunteer firefighters and help homeless veterans. Martins also answered questions from local students about a variety of issues.

The show airs on PATV on Cablevision channel 20 and Verizon channel 37 in the PATV service area and through livestream on PATV’s website on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m., Thursday nights at 5 p.m. and Friday nights at 6 p.m. throughout February.
