Everyone loves to laugh, and now you have a great reason to. For anyone who has always wanted to help out needy animals but had neither the necessary time or resources to take care of one, this may be the perfect event.
Governor’s Comedy Club will be holding their “Last Hope Animal Rescue’s Comedy Night” at 90 Division Ave. in Levittown on Thursday, March 10 at 8 p.m. There is a first-come first-served seating basis, so early birds will get the best view of the action. Tickets are $25 with all of the money being donated to Last Hope.
Those arriving on empty stomachs can satisfy their hunger on Governor’s full menu, and although there is a two drink minimum, it doesn’t have to be alcohol—you can drink coffee, juice or soda. There will also be a selection of raffle baskets, as well as a 50/50. All of the money will go directly to Last Hope’s dog and cat adoption programs and community outreach, such as Governor’s “Fix-A-Feral” voucher program. This is a great chance to have your spirits raised, while at the same time brightening the future of a disadvantaged animal.
Tickets will not be sold at the door the night of the event, so make sure to purchase tickets either through PayPal at www.lasthopeanimalres
cue.org or by check payable to Last Hope, PO Box 7025, Wantagh, NY 11793. Any questions can be emailed to Linda at dipaola2@optonline.net.
