Registration for the 2016 Nickerson Beach Park Cabana Lottery will begin on Monday, Feb. 29, and will run through Monday, April 25. The cabana lottery drawing will take place at Nickerson Beach on Tuesday, April 26, at 10 a.m., and winners not present will be notified by telephone. The cabana fee for the 2016 summer season is $3,750.
“From cabanas to campgrounds and pools to playgrounds, Nickerson Beach is a great place to bring your family during the summer season,” said County Executive Ed Mangano. “I invite residents to visit Nickerson Beach this summer and enjoy all the amenities it has to offer.”
To register, applicants must apply in person at the Nickerson Beach administration building, open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Applicants must pay a nonrefundable $25 fee and provide a valid driver’s license, electric bill or current tax bill as proof of residency and a Nassau County Leisure Pass. Only one application per family.
