Thanks to a generous donation from The Angela and Scott Jaggar Foundation, signs that point out how children can make a difference through conservation in bathrooms, cafeterias and hallways were recently unveiled at Port elementary schools. Green Team Salem participates in Residents For a More Beautiful Port Washington’s campaign Get Your Green On. Students who volunteered to be Green Team leaders help their peers learn to recycle and conserve resources and empower all students to make a difference in the future of the planet’s health.
