In celebration of the Persian New Year, Norooz, which marks the first day of spring, a 5-hour live Persian New Year special will air on Saturday, March 19, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Observed by Iranians of all religions and symbolizing renewal and rebirth, this year, Norooz takes place on Sunday, March 20.
Great Neck resident Yafa Soleimani, producer and host of Ma Va Shoma TV, will celebrate the Persian New Year 1395 with music, entertainment and special guests on PATV.
