TOB Polar Plunge Another Success

Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Rebecca M. Alesia (right) recently attended the third annual “Freezin for a Reason” Town of Oyster Bay Polar Plunge to benefit the Special Olympics held at Tobay Beach in Massapequa. The Polar Plunge will help provide year-round sports for more than 65,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities living in New York. Councilwoman Alesia is pictured with the Freezin Monkees team from John H. West Elementary School of the Plainedge School District who helped to raise $4,000 at the event for the Special Olympics.
