perform on April 13.

Great Neck North High School will be holding its Chamber Music Recital on Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium at 35 Polo Rd. Students will be performing under the direction of music instructors Dr. Janine Robinson, who will also play the piano, and Joseph Rutkowski.

The evening will include 12 pieces by noted composers, including Mozart, Milhaud, Handel, Beethoven, Tartini, Hovhaness, Szalowski, Brahms, John Denver, Schubert and Murray Houliff. For the second year in a row, Rutkowski’s colleague, composer Houliff, plans to attend the recital.

Student performers include violinists Rachel Berkower, Lauren Goldsamt, Keva Li, Shannon Sarker, Matthew Weinstein, Elana Xu and Isabel Yang; violists Weiyin (Mimi) Jiao and Megan Xu; on cello, Samuel Cho, Ellen Xu
and Gary Yao; Julia Goldsamt on bass; flutists Abigail Berkower and Zachary Lee; on clarinet, Andrew Chi, Joshua Rothbaum, Scott Rothbaum and Bob Qian; on bass clarinet, Joosung (Joshua) Kim; saxophonists Alec Rich and Zhengjun (John) Yu; Maya Mualem on oboe; David Liu and Daniel Itzkowitz on French horn; on bassoon, Joshua Nouriyelian, Isabelle Sehati, Nathaniel Sehati and Jeesu Yune; pianists Milleno Pan, Amy Shteyman and Kejia (Mady) Wang; and percussionists Samuel Calto, Jinjing (Amber) Chen, Aaron Geula, Shi-In (Daniel) Kim, Jacob Landerer, XiKai (Kevin) Liao, Austin Tam and Lucien Wostenholme.
