The BMoore Than You Can Be Foundation, honoring the late NYPD officer Brian Moore, will be holding its first fundraising effort in the form of a walk-a-thon to be held at Belmont Racetrack in Elmont. Birds In Massapequa Preserve
Join the South Shore Audubon Society for a bird walk in the Massapequa Preserve from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Walk leaders and other birders and nature enthusiasts will be happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. The bird walk is free, but you must bring binoculars. Rain will cancel the bird walk. Meet at the Northeast parking lot at the Massapequa Long Island Railroad Station.
