Filippo Bellomo, age 81, of Port Washington, died on April 20, 2016. Filippo is survived by his wife, Crescenza, his children, Angela Diglio (Nicola), Rosanna Strangolagalli (Carlo), John (Kristina) and Phillip (Rosanna); his grandchildren, Margherita, Cristina, Pasquale, Joseph, Philip, Gianni, Mason, Lucianna and Phillip; his siblings, Anna and Nicola. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael. Funeral arrangements were handled by Austin F. Knowles, Inc. Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, April 23, at 10 a.m. The entombment followed at Nassau Knolls Cemetery. He was a selfless man, a loving father and grandfather who put family above all else. He was the strongest and most likable man. He was one of a kind and always made people laugh and enjoy life so much more. The world has become more empty without him. We love you, Dad. Until we meet again in heaven.
