For the first hour, Serignese will discuss the launch of The Serignese Group, the state of the market and investing in Port Washington, as well as other topics.Tim050416B

“This market is like no other we have seen with the influx of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens buyers,” said Serignese. “I will detail how I interpret market data from a macro (country, region) market and distill it down to the micro submarket of New York City. I will focus on how the NYC market directly correlates to ours, how homes need to be marketed to the new wave of urban buyers and how interaction, negotiation, marketing and transacting deals will need a new methodology and philosophy to maximize value.”

Serignese has 20 years of experience in real estate. He and his
wife, Dawn, have lived in Port for
14 years and have two children in Port schools. The other panelists at the symposium:

• Linda Ressa of Wells Fargo will discuss financing options.

• Attorney Brian Tracz will discuss the pace of deals, what he has seen at the closing table and what has been negotiable and nonnegotiable as the market shifts.

• Christopher Dritsa, an insurance broker specialist, owns Phillips Brokerage in Port. He will dispel the myth that insurers are not writing policies in Port or near the water and offer policy evaluations and guidance.

For the second hour, Serignese hopes to spark a lively discussion about Port Washington real estate, see old friends and meet new ones.
