Congratulations to the following inaugural Nassau County Cheer Award recipients from Carle Place High School: Julianna Baratta (All-County and Scholar-Athlete), Christiana Caliendo (All-County), Julia Moran (All-Division) and Stephanie DeNicola (Coaches Award). This is the first time Nassau County created Cheer Awards since New York state classified cheer as a sport and Section VIII acknowledged this classification. The team is coached by Mrs. Caliendo.
