Criminal Mischief

Third Squad detectives are investigating incidents of Criminal Mischief that occurred on Thursday, June 30, at 1:45 a.m. in North New Hyde Park.
According to detectives, three males (no further description) forced open the gates into Tully Park, 1801 Evergreen Ave. and caused damage to the booth at the entrance of the park when they attempted to enter it. The three subjects then caused damage to three school buses that were parked in the parking lot area. The damage included broken windows, flat tires, as well as damage to the buses stop signs and safety equipment causing over $28,000 in destruction.
