The North Shore Animal League America invites all to show their love for animals at the upcoming Dog Days of Summer Party being held on Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park, 99 Quaker Meeting House Rd., Farmingdale.
This happy hour event features Puptails, music, photos with puppies, and hors d’oeuvres while raising important funds for the League’s rescue efforts. Meet some of the latest rescues and hear chief of the veterinary staff, Dr. Mark Verdino, say a few words about their journey to the safety of the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization.
After Dog Days concludes, guests can keep the fun going and enjoy live music by attending the Carlyle on the Green’s Wednesday evening festivities, Party in the Park. Individual tickets are $55. For tickets and information visit www.animalleague.org.
