As a resident of North Massapequa for more than 18 years, I have met lots of people through my jobs and through my kids. Any time I went to a school functi
on or a birthday party, I would meet someone new. Now that the years have gone by and the kids have grown, the days of play dates are over. Or are they? I now find myself planning events for my friends and myself. For many years I would plan two annual evenings out, reserve spots in local restaurants, and at the holiday time, bring home made party favors to give out to friends. It was so much fun, and I love the joy of having everybody get together.
Recently, I have discovered a love of painting. It all started with my first paint night with Cheryl’s Paintbrush at Ziggy’s Corner Pub two years ago. Everyone was able to enjoy assorted pizzas and a beverage while painting their own personal masterpiece that they got to bring home that very night. Instructor Cheryl is there to guide you every step of the way. Fran, co-owner of Ziggy’s Corner Pub makes sure that everyone is doing well and makes planning a party so easy. If you happen to want to have your own private paint night, or you can join one of the many paint nights that are scheduled throughout the year. It is amazing how popular these events have become.
