It was a successful first day of school for students in the Island Trees School District. Students from the elementary, middle and secondary level bid farewell to summer and hello to a new year of learning.
Island Trees High School principal Nicholas Grande welcomed back high schoolers, some of which donned Bulldogs gear and football jerseys, while Fred J. Sparke Elementary School students befriended new classmates upon arriving for the first day via school bus.
The district’s staff, faculty and administration is excited for all that is to come in the 2016-17 school year.
