Attention, all swimmers: Summer may be over, but the Michael J. Tully Jr. Park Aquatic Activity Center is open for those athletes who are up with the sun.
Starting on Sept. 20, the Town of North Hempstead has opened the pool at 6 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for town residents.
Members of the center will have access not only to pool facilities, but also to exercise facilities during these early bird hours. Non-members can also purchase a day pass to use the facilities during early bird hours as well. Membership rates and day pass rates for the facility can be found at: http://www.northhempsteadny.gov/parks.
