More than 100 Long Islanders gathered at Saddle Rock Park on Sunday, Sept. 25, for Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) Family Fun Day. Led by FIDF’s Long Island teen leadership, the event raised $3,250 towards well-being and educational programs for the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)—and FIDF’s Long Island chapter will match the funds raised.

Organized by FIDF Long Island teen leaders Natalie Ben-Josef, Michael Maslavi, Tyler Moradof, Lior Sanilevich and Aaron Sheena, Family Fun Day set the stage for the FIDF Long Island 11th Annual IDF Appre-ciation Evening at Fresh Meadow Country Club on Thursday, Sept. 29.
