Two masked gunmen who committed a home invasion in Nissequogue and set the victim’s vehicle on fire two weeks ago were arrested on Friday, Suffolk County police said.
Louis Martini and Anthony Hlatky-Mupo, both 21, were arrested in their hometown of Selden and charged with burglary and arson.
Fourth Squad and Arson Squad detectives alleged that the suspects were armed with shotguns when they entered the victims’ home, where they stole jewelry, electronics and a Lexus at 8 a.m. Sept. 26, police said.
The victims were not injured. The suspects fled the scene in the Lexus and set it on fire at the Lake Ronkonkoma County Park a half hour later, police said.
The suspects will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
