On Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m., there will be a meet the candidates night for those individuals running for positions on the Great Neck Library board of trustees and nominating committee. The meeting will take place at the Station Branch, 26 Great Neck Rd.
The session will be moderated by the League of Women Voters since the election is contested. Attendees may ask questions of the candidates. Questions must be submitted in writing and should address the issues. Cards for writing your questions will be given out before the session.
The election will be held on Monday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Station and Parkville Branches.
