Hilary L. Moreira, an associate of the Garden City law firm Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC has been named among Long Island’s up and coming business professionals, receiving Long Island Business News’ Millennial Award. The Millennial Award recognizes young professionals between the ages of 19 and 35 who have made significant strides in their careers and contribute to the Long Island community.
Moreira, a management side labor and employment attorney, largely represents public employers, including school districts, villages, towns and cities across Long Island and in New York state. Many of the clients she works for are in the business of providing public services, whether it be educating children, managing a police force, maintaining community parks or providing sanitation services.
She joined Bond upon her graduation from Hofstra University School of Law. She has since distinguished herself with the recognition of her peers, including being named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list for 2015 and 2016 as a New York Metro Rising Star, Employment & Labor. Moreira has also been commended for her service on the Nassau County Bar Association’s Education Law Committee and Labor and Employment Committee, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
