Mineola Resident Named All-State Musician

The Wheatley School recently announced that junior Justin Vega (pictured left) was named a NYSSMA All-State musican. The Mineola resident was one of approximately 900 students selected. Vega, a violionist, was selected to perform with the All-State Symphonic Orchestra. Along with two other Wheatley students who were selected as All-State musicians, he will perform at the All-State Conference in Rochester on Dec. 1-4.
