Whether you were happy or unhappy at the results of the Presidential Election, one thing that we all can agree on is that the Board or Elections staff at the polling places were courteous, helpful and very hardworking. I went to my polling place—the Fern Place School in Plainview—shortly after the polls opened and the election workers definitely had things under control. People asked questions and the workers had answers—always with a smile. Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly. So thank you folks—without you, Election Day just couldn’t work.
