Learn how to make healthier food decisions around the holidays at Magnolia Gardens, 899 Broadway in Westbury, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

What Matters to You Men’s Community Group
All men, age 60 and older, living in the Town of North Hempstead are welcome to come and discuss topics that are of mutual interest to other men living in the community. The group meets at the Parkville Branch of Great Neck Library, 10 Campbell St. in New Hyde Park, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Exercise for Balance and Strength to Reduce Falls
Learn the basic movements of Tai Chi and how to improve your balance and strength to reduce falls. The advanced class is held on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Tai Chi Balance and Strength course is offered on Monday at the same time. Both courses will be held at the North Hempstead “Yes We Can” Community Center, 141 Garden St. in Westbury. Participants must wear comfortable clothing, secure footwear and bring a bottle of water.

Introduction to Computers and the Internet
Don’t delay! Get started with an introductory course in basic computer skills. Learn to navigate through the Internet, emails and Microsoft programs and enjoy a new way to communicate with family and friends at the North Hempstead “Yes We Can” Community Center, 141 Garden St. in Westbury, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Caregiver Support Group
Learn new ways of coping with the demands of caregiving, gain a better understanding of your relationship with your loved one and learn to recognize the importance of meeting your own needs. Explore community resources as well at the Port Washington Senior Center, 80 Manorhaven Blvd. in Port Washington, on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 2 to 3 p.m. Registration is required.

World in Motion
Come join in for a lively discussion on current world issues at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Ave. in New Hyde Park, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.

Color for the Health of It!
Coloring is a wonderful meditative activity. It helps relieve stress, improves mood and promotes mindfulness and socialization. Coloring sheets and colored pencils will be available, but feel free to bring your own to the Roslyn Community Center, 53 Orchard St. in Roslyn Heights, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
