The morning and afternoon Pre-K students at Little Sprouts Preschool in New Hyde Park hosted their annual Christmas pageant just before the holiday break. Held on a Saturday so working parents and siblings could attend, the school’s pageant had children dressed as stars, angels, shepherds, sheep, the Three Kings, Mary, Joseph, the drummer boy and the innkeeper. Costumes were worn and songs joyously performed to a packed house in the Chapel.
Afterward, holiday-themed refreshments were served. Christmas spirit was in abundance as all students got some reindeer antlers and jingle bells to take home.
Little Sprouts Preschool is a long-standing program in the community known for quality early childhood education programs for toddler, nursery school and Pre-K programs. The school is a ministry of Christ Lutheran Church. Registration has begun for the 2017-18 school year.
