Looking back on this holiday season’s delights, musically, nothing surpasses the Great Neck Choral Society’s concert at the Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy’s beautiful chapel.
Haydn’s magnificent Nelson Mass was followed by choruses by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Bizet and Gounod. With the audience on its feet, Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus ended the concert in the grandest fashion.
What a treasure this chorale is, and right here in Great Neck. Bravo!
