A New York City correctional academy cadet from West Babylon was arrested for allegedly selling cocaine to an undercover Nassau County police detective in Massapequa this weekend, authorities said.

Rushauney Stephenson was charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.

Narcotics Vice Squad detectives said the 24-year-old corrections officer recruit twice sold a quantity of cocaine to an undercover detective for an agreed upon amount of money.

Nassau detectives and City Department of Corrections Investigations Division officials located the suspect at the New York City Correctional Academy at John Jay College in Manhattan, where he was taken into custody without incident Friday.
