Suffolk County police are investigating an armed home invasion in Mount Sinai last week, authorities said.
An assailant entered a Mount Sinai Avenue home through an unlocked door, flashed a handgun and stole money from at least one victim inside at 11:25 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, police said.
There were no reported injuries. There was neither an arrest nor description of the suspect available in the case.
Detectives are continuing the investigation.
