Floral Park Girl Scout Troop 1186 interviewed local female business owner, Tina Evangelista of the Tulip Sweet Shoppe in order to complete a portion of their aMuse Journey. During this Journey the girls are learning about the many different roles women play in life as well as recognizing society’s stereotypical images of women.
It turned out to be a very educational experience as they learned what it takes to run your own business. Of course, it was a delicious experience too as the girls enjoyed some of their favorite candies!
