Arman Farshadmand of the Great Neck UFSD, a Network Cabling Technician student at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech, earned a $125 Barry Tech Career and Technical Education Achievement Award. The young scholar received his award at the 2017 Barry Tech Scholarship Luncheon, held at the Joseph M. Barry Career & Technical Education Center.
“Arman has gone above and beyond his academics to demonstrate a genuine passion and commitment to his field,” said Barry Tech Principal Peter Dalton. “Part of the Nassau BOCES mission is to enable students of all ages and abilities to achieve their maximum potential. These scholarships help us to do just that, by providing them with financial, as well as educational support.”
