Coming this October to the Cradle of Aviation Museum, Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Garden City, the United Ink: Flight 1017 – Tattoo and Arts Festival is ready to bring a fun and unique glimpse into the world of tattoos and art for everyone. Friday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Oct. 22 get ready to experience the ultimate tattoo convention with more than 250 world famous tattoo artists, 30+ vendors and tattoo suppliers, live entertainment and more.
Hours:
- Friday, Oct. 20, from 2 to 11 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 21, from noon to 11 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 22, from noon to 8 p.m.
Whether you’re there to get some fresh new ink, brand new piercings at their piercing booth, enjoying some of the incredible live art showcases, or visiting some of the vendors in attendance selling everything from shop supplies to the latest merch—the family-friendly expo allows for adults and children of all ages to experience this unique culture.
And yes, you can get your own tattoo or piercing right there on the spot.

Check out some of the amazing art being displayed from The Artist Hanger and Fusion Project returning again this year, in which much of the artwork exhibited will be for sale. There will also be live painting by local Long Island artist Keith Ciaramello along with Sean Carlson and Jason Ackerman, live wood carving by John Goncharuk and even virtual reality painting.

With tons of panels and seminars to check out, stop down for “Women of Ink: Trials, Tribulations, and Triumph” (Sunday at 1 p.m.) showcasing five female tattoo artists of varying experiences, styles and backgrounds fielding questions and giving insight into the life of a female in the tattoo industry with a special host to top it all off.
Want to meet and mingle with TV and movie stars? TV and film star Nico Tortorella (Younger, The Following) will make a special guest appearance on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Other seminars also include “The A.R.T. of Areola Restorative Tattooing,” artist and designer Tian Davies’ live Blade and Shade Microblading Demo, and “Advanced Black & Grey Tattooing” and “Mindset & Motivation” from Jose Perez Jr.
