A 65-year-old woman that investigators said “appeared to be a victim of violence” was found dead in Hauppauge over the holiday weekend, Suffolk County police said.
Paula Chavez-Quintanilla, of Brentwood, was found in the rear parking lot of an office building on Motor Parkway at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made. Authorities are continuing the investigation.
