CAP is known for bringing Broadway shows to the backyard of Nassau County residents. During the month of February, CAP partners with Long Island Theatre Collective to present William Shakespeare’s Romeo And Juliet. Performances take place Feb. 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18, at 8 p.m., except on Sundays when the performances begin at 3 p.m.
In the spring, CAP will put on a production of Jesus Christ Superstar from March 24 to April 22. Danny Amy directs the classic rock opera. The Hunchback of Notre Dame runs from May 19 to June 10. Tony Frangipane directs the regional premiere of the Gothic romance.
In addition to these shows, CAP also puts on plays for the whole family. The next children’s production is Aladdin and the Magical Lamp on Feb. 10, 17, 19, 21 and 24, at 1 p.m.
CAP offers subscription deal that allows theatergoers to see four mainstage shows for the price of three. Subscribers get early access to purchase tickets and free exchanges for all shows. Join at cap.booktix.com.
