For the past 29 years the Kiwanis Club of County Seat, Mineola has held the magnificent pancake breakfast on Super Bowl Sunday at the Mineola Community Center. The Kiwanis Club is all about helping the community and its children with the proceeds from their events.
This year, the Kiwanis Club gave a Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Kit to the Mineola Ambulance Corp as well as a $5,000 donation to LIU Winthrop for the child life specialist at the pediatric department. The Kiwanis Club would like to thank members of the Carle Place, Mineola and Wheatley Key Clubs for their fantastic help at the breakfast and their incurable attitude to help make a difference.
