Catherine Louise Profaca

Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Catherine Louise Profaca, 82, of Marco Island, FL, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2018. Catherine was born in New York, NY July 23, 1935, daughter of the late Ralph and Josephine (Collino) Caruso. She married her husband, Svetko Profaca, on December 30, 1958. They resided in Brooklyn and Port Washington, NY before relocating to Marco Island, FL in 1990. Catherine worked as a manager at Publishers Clearing House in Port Washington and as a reservations agent at the JW Marriott on Marco Island, FL. She was very active in Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Port Washington as well as San Marco Catholic Church, Marco Island. In addition to her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her brothers, Victor and Frank Caruso. She is survived by her loving husband, Svetko Profaca; daughter, Krstina; son, Steven; granddaughter, Katelyn; extended family members and friends. Catherine was a woman with a heart of gold who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed helping others in any way she possibly could. Touching the lives of many, Catherine was truly a magnificent, one of a kind woman. She will be forever loved, remembered and missed immensely by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
