Poppy’s Special Friends, a Port-based nonprofit organization with the mission to assist mentally and physically challenged children and adults with everyday situations, held their springtime celebration at the Manhasset Bay Sportsmens Club with food and dancing.
To raise funds for future celebrations and to purchase items for those with mental or physical disabilities, Poppy’s will hold their 11th annual spring dinner dance on May 17 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Swan Club in Glenwood Landing.
