Amit Sondhi, of Woodbury, has joined the law firm of Bergman, Bergman, Fields & Lamonsoff LLP, with offices in Hicksville and Queens, to focus on injury litigation.
A Hicksville native, Sondhi is dedicated to making a difference in the community by helping people recover from devastating injuries sustained as the result of motor vehicle, construction, premises and workplace accidents. He has obtained several awards and verdicts at trial, including achieving one of the top 35 automobile accident verdicts in 2017 (Westchester County).
Sondhi earned his J.D. degree from Touro Law School where he graduated at the top of his class with special honors. While in law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arlene R. Lindsay, a Federal Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of New York, and as an intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the South Asian Bar Association.
Sondhi has worked with large New York City law firms handling personal injury claims involving municipalities, government agencies and corporations, and has extensively litigated thousands of cases resulting in beneficial awards and verdicts for his clients.
