American Values Tested By Anti-Semitism Sentiments

One distinct attribute of Jewish communities, religious and secular alike, is an unwavering reliance on future success. Perhaps the history of perpetual discrimination inscribed this survival instinct in every module of their DNA. Ironically, much of the bigotry directed at the Jews targets their eagerness to be the vanguards.

The anti-Semitism of the early 20th century, which culminated in the Holocaust and massacre of six-million Jews, originated in Europe. We are now overwhelmed by a new branch of anti-Semitism mushrooming in the Middle East and methodically infiltrating the Western hemisphere to galvanize the old and new anecdotes of bigotry.

The frequent apologies of Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar are the building blocks of a larger scheme. Retraction is another phase in her deception crusade. She is practicing the article in Sharia, Islamic canonical law based on the teachings of the Koran, which renders deceit in certain situations obligatory. This article is known as Taqiyya, a precautionary dissimulation or denial of religious belief and practice in the face of persecution.

The Middle Eastern immigrants who have seen this in their everyday life instantaneously discern this treachery. Yasser Arafat, the late Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) chief, was caught gloating over enacting Taqiyya when his far-fetched compromises in the Oslo Accords with Israel did not materialize.

Our Western comrades who are not familiar with this egregious practice and other religiously lawful trickeries are quick to praise and justify every fresh sign of reform or retreat. The European countries are now paying a hefty price for their unrelenting progressive approach toward the religious faction of immigrants.

Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, meticulously utilized Taqiyya to convince the masses that he is innocuously tackling the systematic corruption. Once the revolution became a reality, he initiated a bloody campaign of death and destruction that is still in progress.

After a series of apologies, Ilhan Omar seems to be emboldened by the downpour of support from controversial political activists such as Linda Sarsour and Minister Louis Farrakhan who urged her not to yield: “You have nothing to apologize for…sweetheart.”

For decades, Jews relished on the security afforded to them in the USA to thrive and contribute to their communities. As alarming as it sounds, we are witnessing growing cracks in the system that provided the safety net for minorities to prosper. The dreary episode of Democrats’ negligence in the Congress to unabashedly condemn anti-Semitism is a giant step in the wrong direction.
