The Experience Auto Group hosted the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Asaf German’s Man of the Year campaign at the company’s Ferrari and Maserati dealership in Plainview on May 4.
The spirited 10-week fundraising competition leading up to the event had teams raise funds for blood cancer research in honor of the Boy & Girl of the Year who are local pediatric cancer survivors. Proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Boy of the Year was Jesse Pallas. The event featured raffle baskets, silent auction prizes, a live auction, local food vendors, and more.
The Racing to a Cure event was just one part of a 10-week fundraising competition, which wraps up with a Grand Finale Gala on June 6. The fundraising totals will not be revealed
until that night, and until then, the candidates are working tirelessly to raise money to find cures.
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to fund cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, as well as improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
