EAC Network’s milestone 30th Annual Golf for Good charity tournament was recently hosted at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success, where more $133,00 was raised in support of the human service agency’s 100+ programs that help child victims of abuse, families struggling with basic needs, individuals battling addiction or mental illness, seniors needing support, those seeking to gain control of their lives and many more. Michael F. LoFrumento, Partner at Barnes Catterson LoFrumento & Barnes, LLP, was honored for his dedication to the local Long Island and greater New York City communities that EAC Network serves.

“It was such a pleasure to be able to honor Mr. LoFrumento for his community-minded endeavors,” said Lance W. Elder, president and CEO. “We couldn’t be more grateful for his generosity and kindness, along with the incredible support of our lead sponsors, including NFP, Treeline, Barnes Catterson LoFrumento & Barnes, LLP, and M&T Bank. It is because of them, and many like them, that EAC Network is able to serve 82,000 community members in need.”

Proceeds from the event help to:

  • reduce the trauma of child sexual abuse or neglect
  • treat those suffering from addictions or mental illness
  • feed vulnerable, homebound seniors nutritious meals
  • nourish those living with HIV/AIDS
  • prevent domestic violence through education
  • enrich the lives of youth in foster care, and so much more

Not only was Golf for Good’s 30-year mark a celebration in its own right, but it also aligns with EAC Network’s overarching 50th anniversary of its founding back in 1969. The outing is just one of EAC Network’s celebratory events this year, with everything culminating in the agency’s Golden Anniversary Gala this November.
