A 43-year-old woman from Levittown was reportedly groped as she tried to enter her home on Thursday night, and security cameras caught the incident on tape.
The woman, who lives on Tallow Lane, was walking into her house just prior to 10:30 p.m. when a man wearing a white t-shirt and dark jeans ran up behind her. The Nassau County Police Department arrived shortly thereafter, but the suspect ran away after she started screaming.
Police said the suspect is between 20 and 25 years old, standing at about 5’11”. The woman gave police the security footage, which shows the suspect approaching her and running off.
The suspect reportedly fled from the scene and drove away in a dark Chrysler 300. Anyone with potential information on the suspect should contact the crime stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
