Brothers Rudolph and Grinchy are always ready for the holidays with their seasonal names. These adorable 3–month-old kittens are also ready to find their forever homes! It would be wonderful if they found a home together (or separately) before Santa makes his way down the chimney. For information about adopting Rudolph and Grinchy, please contact Last Hope Animal Rescue at lasthopeanimalrescue.org
Available for adoption through Pets4Luv:
URGENT PLACEMENT REQUEST: Poor Pumpkin got himself into a bit of a pickle. Pets4Luv received a call from a woman in East Patchogue regarding a cat she has been feedingwhen she noticed he was limping. His injuries were so severe that he had to have his front/left limb amputated. He is healing in temporary foster care right now but is extremely scared and needs an experienced adopter or long–term foster to help him overcome his fears. He is truly a sweet boy deserving of a home and some love. To adopt or foster Pumpkin, please contact Daveat info@pets4luv.org or 516-832-8200.
Available for adoption at Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter
At only 12 months old, Pep is just a pup. He recently arrived at the shelter as a stray, and is described as energetic, friendly, and goofy. Pep would love to have an active owner who could make sure he is properly exercised so that he can happily spend the rest of the day relaxing in his new forever home. He is playful with other dogs and knows the command “sit.” Pep is looking for an owner who can work on some basic obedience, including how to walk well on leash. Don’t let this cutie pass you by! If you are interested in learning more: Please call the shelter at 516-785-5220, visit 3320 Beltagh Ave., Wantagh or email adoption@tohmail.org
Champ only wants two things in life, his frisbee and a forever home. Champ is a pretty awesome 3-year old- he is both dog and cat friendly, is already house-trained and crate trained, enjoys bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and car rides. Can’t ask for much more from a new best friend! Contact the Town of Hempstead animal shelter or check out Adoptable Shelter Buddies Facebook page for additional info: facebook.com/
Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America
Here’s the scoop on Vanilla (adoption #H209521) and Chocolate (adoption #H209519). They’re delectable! This bonded pair of 14-month-old siblings (Vanilla is a girl, Chocolate is a boy) are ready to go home to loving, responsible adopters. This is a double adoption, so they’ll always be together. You could be the cherry on top of this delicious sundae by bringing them home this weekend!
What could be sweeter than a pair of devoted tortie sisters? Having recently lost their upstate New York home, Reeses (adoption #NCI0766) and Honey (adoption #NCI0767) are bonded 1-year-old females depending on each other to get past this bump in the road. Hopefully their shelter stay will be brief because their tender charms are irresistible. Reeses and Honey are more than ready to come home and live a peaceful life with you. Photo by Ted Lim.
Shy Morganite (adoption # BF2872) and Tourmaline (adoption # BF2873) shine brightest when they’re together. These locally rescued 4-month old kittens are waiting to be discovered by their family. Morganite (a female) and Tourmaline (a male) are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They’d thrive best if offered a peaceful life in a household with older children and adopters with cat experience. If you’re mining for a pair of new family members, come discover these hidden gems!
