Mia
Mia

Mia is a 3-year-old female Mastiff and Lab mix with a heartbreaking story, arriving at the animal shelter after she was hit by a car. Fortunately, she ended up with only minor scrapes and fractures in her foot. However, her owner could not afford medical treatments, and she was surrendered to the shelter as a result. Mia grew up as a yard dog, where she lived a life where she didn’t get much exposure to others. Her time in the shelter has helped her come out of her shell, and she has shown how goofy, affectionate, and loving she can be. Mia’s favorite activities include walks and playing with toys! It takes her some time to get used to strangers, but once you become friends with her, she’ll reward you with snuggles and kisses. Mia would do well in homes with non-dominant dogs that are her size and with children 14 and older.

If you are interested in meeting Mia, please call 631-360-7575.

Owen Hunt
Owen Hunt

Five-year-old Owen Hunt (Adoption #BF3725) had a rocky start to life and needed heroes to help him find a new beginning. After spending time with NSALA’s medical team who helped him overcome his sensitive tummy, Owen is enjoying a tranquil spot where he’s quietly hoping the next hero he meets is the family who takes him home. You’re going to have a hard time leaving without this cheeky boy. Offer him the peace and quiet he’s always dreamed of and watch how quickly he serves up his gratitude!

Felix

**Senior Alert** Friendly Felix (Adoption #E00550) wasn’t thrilled to lose his lifelong home recently, but with a little reassurance, this 11-year-old senior decided to look at this as an opportunity to make new friends in the hopes they lead him to a place where he can retire. This sweet, older gentleman is always dressed for the occasion in his fancy edo coat, and you may have to excuse him as he explores new surroundings before coming back for that head rub you’re offering. Doesn’t he sound dreamy?

Kerianne
Kerianne

If Kerianne (Adoption #MA4195) seems to have trouble focusing all of her attention on you it’s because she’s used to multi-tasking — she just completed raising eight kittens! NSALA calls her their superhero mom! Her hard work is about to pay off because this amazing momma has earned herself a place in someone special’s heart and home where she will receive all the love and attention she gave her babies. Kerianne’s meager beginning at a local municipal shelter (they had taken her in from the city streets) is past history; this 3-year-old is ready for a beautiful future filled with crunch treats, ear rubs, and you. Swing by to meet your new best friend — and don’t forget to bring the treats!

Figgy
Figgy

Figgy (Adoption #BF3825) has put a lifetime of outdoor adventure behind him and is relishing the quiet safety of his beautiful room in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, thanks to the help of his local rescuer. This exceedingly grateful 5-year-old fellow doesn’t miss the chaos of his past; he’s seeking someone he can count on with whom he’ll spend his future. Wouldn’t you like to share his appreciation for the simple things in life?

Diamond
Diamond

Motherhood took a toll on 2-year-old Diamond (Adoption #WV0576), who devoted several weeks to caring for her five kittens before she had the opportunity to be doted upon herself. NSALA discovered that under her very shy exterior is a loving heart open to new possibilities in a quiet home. As the only pet in her new household, she’ll find getting to know the humans in her life a lot easier. With only a little gentle guidance, she’ll soon discover that being part of a family is worth all the hardships she’d endured before she arrived to safety. Wouldn’t you love to be on the receiving end of her appreciation?

Poppy
Poppy

Ten-month-old Poppy (Adoption #NCI2273) is popping up with ideas on how to win your heart! This gorgeous young lady may not be much of a fan of fellow felines, but she’s very excited about making friends with every human she meets. Poppy is a purrfect choice for families looking for an easy way to be a hero. Adopt Poppy and discover how easy it is to be loved by her!
