Two big pop concerts have been announced for summer 2022 at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater.
iHeartMedia New York’s 103.5 KTU released on Monday the lineup of its annual star-studded show at Jones Beach in June, while KIDZ BOP and Live Nation also announced the KIDZ BOP summer tour that will stop at Jones Beach in July.
“KTUphoria is a tradition to celebrate the start of summer and this year’s 25th Anniversary show will not disappoint,” said Chris Conley, program director of 103.5 KTU. “We’re excited to welcome all the artists and listeners to the party and kick off the summer at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater.”
Headlining KTUphoria will be Pitbull, Ava Max, Regard, and Laidback Luke. There will also be a special, 25th anniversary freestyle set featuring TKA, Freedom Williams & C & C Music Factory, George Lamond, Judy Torres, Coro, Lucas Prata, Cynthia, Lisette Melendez, Reina, Kim Sozzi, and more to be announced. The kick-off pre-party to the event begins at 3 p.m., and the concert starts at 7 p.m., on Saturday, June 18. Ticketholders will have access to both events.
Tickets for KTUphoria go on sale Wednesday, April 20 at 10 a.m. on www.ktu.com and www.LiveNation.com.
The KIDZ BOP LIVE 2022 concert at Jones Beach will be held on Saturday, July 23. KIDZ BOP singers Egan, Layla, Dominic, and Camille will perform covers of current pop hits, “sung by kids for kids,” including “Good 4 U” and “Dance Monkey.” The show will be family-friendly and full of entertaining surprises. It will also feature the fan-favorite Daddy Dance Off, where dads will show off their best dance moves to a mash-up of Y2K hits.
