Westbury Arts Hosts Vive la France Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Westbury Arts held its 2023 Wine Tasting Fundraiser at the Maria SS. Dell’Assunta Society in Westbury on April 28.
Led by event sommelier Sia Zarisfi, formerly of Total Wines and More, guests were treated to a guided tasting of wines from France’s iconic wine regions for a Vive la France! theme. To complete the experience, each wine was thoughtfully paired with delicious amuse bouche by Westbury Arts’ culinary team of Anne and Chuck Albano and Maureen Baranov.
The evening also included music, trivia, raffles, and a silent auction featuring original artwork by several Westbury Arts member artists.
This tasty and fun event was made possible by the efforts of Westbury Arts volunteers, led by Development Committee Chair Ren Zelaya.
Event sponsors included Anne and Chuck Albano, Peter and Diane Cavallaro, Steve Corte, Wendy Liotti, Julie Lyon and Tom Cabrera, Tomasina and Anthony Mastroianni, Joe Stasi, and Mattone Investors. Westbury High School and NJROTC volunteers were also on hand to wait tables and help ensure the event ran smoothly.
