Super Hero Training

3:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. (The Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Ave.) Listen to a story and learn some superhero skills with Spiderman from Royal Princess Prep! Costumes are welcome. As a reminder, please register ALL children who will be attending, including siblings. Ages 3 to 7 allowed with a caregiver.

4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (North Plandome, Colonial Parkway to Maple Place) This year Manhasset Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 4th annual night out on the town! Outdoor dining, shopping, and live entertainment on Plandome Road.

Take and Make Teen Event: Star Lanterns

All day (The Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Ave.) Make a star lantern to decorate your room. For teens grades 7-12. Pick up for materials starts at 2:30 p.m. 

Ice Cream Shakes

Adult Sampler Quilt Class

12:00pm – 2:00pm. (The Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Ave.) Come explore various quilting and patchwork techniques. Class will meet twice a month through July with a sampler quilt by the fall. Hand sewing, beginners welcome. Bring your own fabric and we’ll provide basic supplies supplies to get started. Let’s Get Ready for School with A Time for Kids

10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (The Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Ave.) Our friends at A Time For Kids, Inc will help prepare your child for school success with educational activities and a craft. This program is designed for children starting or continuing PreK or entering Kindergarten, along with a caregiver. Sign up for both classes or only one. Different content will be covered in each session. Registration is required for each session. For children ages 3-5, not entering 1st grade. Caregiver required.

Play Dough PreK Storytime

2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. (The Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Ave.) Stories, music, movement, and fun with Play-Doh! We’ll have rollers, stampers, and more. Adult Paint Night

The Manhasset Library welcomes adults of all ages and artistic skill levels to explore their creativity via Adult Paint Night classes which will be held once a month, on a Monday night, from 6:30-8pm. All materials will be supplied and every participant can create a painting in any style and color scheme of their choosing.

Safe Boating Courses

America’s Boating Club regularly holds both virtual and in person boating safety classes. Club members, as well as non-members, participate via Zoom from throughout Long Island. The typical class is taught over five sessions held from 7pm – 9pm once a week. Visit weboatsafe.com to register for a session near you.
